What do you want on the profile page?

I'm working on the profile page right now, so - any of you early adoptors - what sorts of things would you want?

My ideas:

• Recent posts, remixes, songs from users you've added to your buddy list.


• Your recent posts, remixes, songs


• Bio info like location

What else?

i'll just make trance the default - then let people specify the trance sub-genre.

I would like to have a mirror on my profile page so that it could reflect back the visitor's face... possible? Is there some code?

i like fav music styles though - maybe the option of displaying your last.fm charts?

what about rss feeds for that user's posts and/or remixes?

This might be a little nuts considering the type of crowd we are (forum whores)...but I sometimes find it helpful to have a checkbox at the bottom of forum threads that, when checked, notifies you by email of responses.

But, to substitute that I think the recent posts thing is very important for sure.

and maybe that little image beside the names indicates that there will be ...... avatars!!!

Indeed it does!

I like the RSS feed idea + optional emailing. Maybe the email option could be a preference in the user account so it doesn't make the main thread page too confusing. I guess a checkbox isn't that confusing.

i know there's a thread for this, but it would be cool if on the profile page you could have a place for your em411 (and maybe other sites) name... or maybe just a general "a.k.a." section and people could list screennames, performance names
also, maybe an "other projects" section, or maybe that could just be part of the a.k.a. section.
or "other places to watch/listen for [insert RoB name here]"
sorry, just brainstorming/rambling

on a side note, it seems like "edit it" to save your edited post is kind of counterintuitive, since you're already in edit mode. maybe something like "save it" or "post it again" or "fix it"?
